Who we are

UKTaxCal (uktaxcal.com) is run by AlwaysOnPlanB. You can contact us through alwaysonplanb.com/contact.html.

Your calculator figures stay on your device

The numbers you type into our calculators are worked out in your browser. They are not sent to us and we do not store them.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. It records things like the pages you visit, how long you stay, how you arrived (for example from a search engine), your device and browser type, and your approximate location such as your country or city.

Google processes this data for us as our processor under the Google Ads Data Processing Terms. We have turned off Google signals and sharing data with Google for its own products and services, and we do not use Google Analytics for advertising. Google Analytics keeps this data for 14 months, then deletes it.

We rely on the statistical purposes exception in the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (as updated by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025) and on our legitimate interest in improving the site under UK GDPR. You can turn analytics off at any time below.

Turn analytics off

Analytics is on for this browser.

This applies to this browser on this device. It removes our Google Analytics cookies and stops analytics on every UKTaxCal page.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to other services, such as the App Store for our own app MileLog, and referral links to Xero, Wise and Vitality. When you follow a link, that site’s own privacy policy applies. Referral links tell the other site that you came from us.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Contact us using the link above. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this page

We will update this page if how we use data changes, and change the date at the top.
